Questions?
How do I sign up for Sustainment Training?
Call us to go over your training interests, needs, and goals. From there, we will work together to establish a training package right for your team.
Can Norse come to us?
Absolutely! If your department is interested in Sustainment Training for your team or wishes to host a training course, call us to go over the details. We will determine pricing and scheduling based on the type of package/course and location.
What is an Acadis/LETRS # and why do you need it?
This field is Kentucky specific. An Acadis # is your academy # assigned by the Department of Criminal Justice
Training (DOCJT) and is how we submit your hours for KLEC Accreditation.
Do you train civilians?
No. Our training is specifically for ACTIVE-DUTY law enforcement and military personnel only.
How do I purchase Norse gear?
The online shop is now open! Click on the Shop tab at the top of the site. Since this is available only to Norse Clients, ask your instructor for the password or call us to verify your client status to gain access.
Where are your instructor BIOs?
The Norse Instructor Cadre consists of prior military Special Operations from multiple branches and experienced Law Enforcement Agents from multiple agencies.
The knowledge base of all instructors is extremely robust, but it is not something we broadcast. We are a privatized training company for a reason: the training isn’t about getting publicity, it’s about the client and providing the best training possible.
Biographies can be provided upon request.
What do I need to bring to class?
The Equipment Requirements are listed at the bottom of each Course page. Additionally, the week prior to the course, students will receive information regarding their instructor, training location, and equipment required.
Do you offer ongoing training programs?
Yes, we offer Sustainment Training programs for tactical teams, various specialized units, and patrol. During this training, we will focus on your individual team goals and tailor the program to meet your training needs within our system.
We also offer an online training retention tool, the Personal Development Nexus, which delivers training videos directly to students to further increase our retention with our clients. See the home page of the website for more information.
Do I need to be on a tactical team or specialized unit to attend a SWAT course?
No, just active-duty law enforcement or military. Credentials are required. We have courses for all skill levels. 100, 200 & 300 Level Courses.
Can I pay for a course myself?
Yes, but if you have a departmental POC listed in your profile, notify Norse of the change in payee so the invoice gets sent to you.
What courses have pre-requisites?
Visit each course page to view pre-requisites.
